Back in 2019 - just before working from home became cool, and just after taking on a mortgage - I took a risk and left my job in an office to pursue my love for making art. I didn't know what I wanted to paint, and years working at a computer had left me rusty, but I was determined, and I gradually built my skillset, refined my methods, and eventually stumbled upon my niche of F1 cars.

One day in 2021, a family member suggested I paint the New McLaren Gulf livery which had been released for the Monaco Grand Prix. I felt inspired, so wanting a painting for my own house I recreated it in a style I liked from old race posters, with my own twist of using only a few select colours.

I posted it on my linkedin, closed the app and went round to my parents' house to watch the race with them...

300 email requests later, a stressful 7 days setting up a website and finding a supplier all while working freelance, and I eventually uploaded my very first piece to this shop on the 31st of May!

5 years later and I've built up a lot of work and continue to do so. I hope you enjoy some of the creations I've made since! :)
